Thanks again to Abs for pulling out all the stops and hosting an AWESOME book club evening (the custard slices were to DIE for, just ask Raylene and I). Not even the torrential downpours or the deafening thunder and cracking lightning could dampen our spirits. I think everyone had a great time and it was FABULOUS to FINALLY meet Raylene and Mandy and welcome them to The Sisterhood! Hope we get to see you girls again soon.

Due to the festive season, there will be no book club till Friday, 29th January so no excuses for not reading the book! 
January’s book club will be hosted by Sharon and we can draw up a new roster for book club at that meeting.
Karma Cooking – YUM YUM!

So last week Wednesday, a group of Divine Sisters headed on over to Karma restaurant in Fourways for a lesson in North Indian and East African cooking. It was great fun and totally delicious! We learned a bunch of recipes and got to eat like kings feasting on our creations at the end of it!

Some of you are aware of the work our sista, Joni, does with Princess Alice Adoption Home and they have sent out an urgent plea for nappies as they have completely run out. Tea…Shmea…..

Yesterday was the long anticipated High Tea at Toadbury Hall. Not only did all the Sista’s look fantastic in their dresses and hats but the food was fantastic too!!! The weather played along beautifully and I’m sure I’m not the only one who got a little bit of a tan despite the big hats and shades. We started off by drink Pimms and Lemonade with fresh mint, soon to be followed by bottles and bottles of champagne. The High Tea plates were served and food was delicious. Everything from cucumber sandwhiches and shaved biltong to tiny chocolate dipped merangues and coconut ice.
I think everyone had a great time and I know I’m looking forward to the next get together! Thanks again to Sam, Anne, Kirsty, Abbey, Joni, Nicolette and Chantal for attending.
